| Unity |
| "The color of the soul is gold. The gold that we ought to dig is within our souls, not in a mountain." This is the story of one who centers a life and philosophy upon the gold found within the soul. He attempts to show others that they seek a lesser gold, which causes the divisions of nationalism, spiritualism, and economism. "Unity is more than any goal to be reached, because unity comes before any goal is set. Unity is more than can be hoped for, because unity is that on which hope is based. To seek unity is to bypass the origin of unity. Without the origin, the end is truly never shown. Rather, one wanders between the origin and the end (here being 'unity'), recognizing neither for either, closing in on one only to recognize the other is missing and just as necessary; therefore, an attempt to include the other is made by striving toward it, overcompensating until the afore intended is forsaken. Unity is to settle here as home and share the World. Then the end and origin remain the same, unified. To hope for unity is to place the onus on anyone or anything other than oneself. One does not have to hope for unity if one bes the unity inherent in one and all. Hoping for unity is like hoping for the Sun to Shine. The Sun is always shining, even though there may be clouds. The Unity is always here, even though there may be conflicts. Hoping won't make the Sun Shine Brighter or the clouds disappear quicker, nor does it make the unity deeper or encompassing. Only by letting the Unity between Us and all come through just as we do the sunshine of the day is the secret to harmony with ALL. Simply Acknowledge ALL IN ALL." -Damon White |
