| of the DaMontage's author The DaMontage on the surface is 64 images depicting 64 stories arranged as one does into a chessboard. The images are colorful, the stories entertaining, yet, for me, the unsuspecting author, the DaMontage is a collective tour de force of intellectual causality for enlightenment with just one aim, to summon forth that essence I call our 'greatness'. I recall almost three decades ago a naive youth who gleefully participated in bringing forth the first story and image, the one I coined, Propt Presequence, and now observe how he evolved from an athlete with smart-alec wit into a philosopher with a seriously grateful bent for the jovial that something so majestic and lofty as the DaMontage found its way to and through myself. I draw a blank. Not even a whisper. Now I witness the same emptiness and listen to the same silence from others who employ verbosity about who they are in relation to who we are without undergoing the same evolution? My quest, then, with the DaMontage (since I am not allowed to truly quest without its presence), is to magnetize the entire World through a grounded accessibility which can share a high sophistication conducive to attracting fellow magnets who then can get busy redefining this World we presently assume to be reflective of who we truly are; until, during another era, the World as a whole asks, just who would we be without the DaMontage? And that World draws a blank. Not even a whisper. |
